Cycling & bike rental in Seoul & the Han River
Seoul is one of Asia's best big cities to ride thanks to the Han River park system: dozens of kilometres of car-free, paved riverside paths connect Yeouido, Ttukseom, Banpo and Jamsil, with rental kiosks in most riverside parks in season. The city's public share bike, Ttareungyi, has thousands of docks and day passes visitors can buy online, which makes one-way hops across town easy.
Beyond the city, the Bukhangang and Namhangang bike paths follow old railway corridors east toward Chuncheon and Yangpyeong — both classic day trips with trains back to Seoul — and mark the first legs of the 633 km 4 Rivers path to Busan. One practical note: Google Maps navigation is limited in Korea, so download Naver Map or Kakao Map for turn-by-turn directions.
